About

Joseph Guillette is a visual artist, animator, and illustrator with roots in both comics and film. A Connecticut native and graduate of Brooklyn’s Pratt Institute, Joseph kicked off his creative career in publishing and package design before leaping into television and film in the early 2000s. He helped launch one of the first-ever web-to-TV crossovers, I Bet You Will, serving as both art director and on-air talent. That same creative team would go on to produce the Academy Award–nominated Super Size Me, with Joseph leading animation and art direction. Since then, he’s worked as a storyboard artist, designer, and illustrator for a range of film, TV, and commercial projects—including ongoing graphic design and illustration work for Law & Order: SVU. Joseph also collaborates with musicians, festivals, and production companies on original art and concept development for TV and film. A lifelong comics fan, Joseph now brings that storytelling passion to Helmet Wars, blending satire, sci-fi, and punk rock energy into a hand-drawn universe of mayhem and commentary. He continues to paint, draw, and publish comics from his home studio in Connecticut.
